Abstract:
The alcoholic beverage industry is continuously growing and evolving. The industry constantly working to meet the consumer’s palatability preferences and for this, the most valuable tool required is the know-how of alcoholic beverages’ impact on consumers’ senses. Different sensory evaluation methods are extensively used in the wine, beer, and distilled spirits industries for product development and quality control. Hence, this review is focused on the different sensory evaluation methods adopted by the alcoholic beverage industries and how they continue to lead the way in sensory evolution through the advancement of biomimetic technology.
